Ultrasound and Fetal Monitoring

We provide fetal monitoring and obstetrical ultra sound to observe your baby’s heart rate for indicators of stress.

Depending on your choices of labor management, your fetal monitoring will be tailored to your situation. If you are high risk, are induced, or choose epidural anesthesia, you will be more likely to have continuous monitoring. An ultrasound exam is a test in which pictures of the fetus are made from sound waves. From this exam, your doctor can learn about the baby and its health.
